Put his numbers in. I’ll send the grade to your inbox on the same scale I use when I look at a player. Numbers don’t tell the whole story of his heart or whether he can play the position. They do give you a clear picture of where the physical tools sit against the level he says he wants. If you don’t have the numbers, you’re guessing.
We measure three things: a 60-yard dash, arm strength from his position, and exit velocity off a wood tee. If those don’t match the level he’s chasing, recruiting is a non-starter. More weekends will not create them.
What you get is an honest baseline. Not a recruiting package. Not a highlight tape. A number next to the level he says he wants, sitting in your inbox as soon as you send it.
What it takes off you is the bleacher argument. “He can really hit” doesn’t mean anything until there’s a number next to it. You stop paying someone to tell you what you want to hear.
If you skip it, you keep building a school list off a wish. You keep guessing. Showcases don’t fix a guess.
What you give up if you wait is the chance to sit next to him now, tell him the truth, and match the work to the goal while the tools can still move.
